Rickie Freeman for Teri Jon moniker known as simply Teri Jon is a world-wide renowned social occasion and day dress collection that has been in business for over 40 years.

Our collection caters to Mother of the Bride/Groom, grandmothers, guests of wedding and all social events. We also feature day dresses for rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, baby showers and less dressy affairs.

Every dress is designed with precision and is made with quality fabrics and expert craftsmanship. Rickie Freeman’s mission is to fit a wide range of body types and age groups.

Meet Our Founder – RICKIE

As a young child raised overseas, Rickie Freeman spent her after school hours watching her father, a tailor, fit and sew men’s suits. Intrigued by her father’s meticulous attention to detail, an inspired Rickie Freeman discovered in herself an insatiable curiosity for fashion design. She eventually went on to pursue her own fashion dreams by moving to New York at age 17 and attending New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. Upon graduation, Rickie first worked for Evan Picone from 1974-1976 and then went on to be the lead designer for Elie Tahari from 1976 until 1978. Shortly after her time at Tahari is when she founded Teri Jon.

Today, Rickie Freeman is not just a designer; like many women who have worn Teri Jon, she is a wife, a mother, and a grandmother.  She is motivated and passionate in continuing to create a well-fitting, beautifully designed garment that makes a woman feel special. With this at the forefront, Rickie personally tries on every style to ensure a proper fit.
